Webinar – COVID-19 Pandemic: Guidance for Nuclear Medicine Departments

WEBINARCOVID-19 Pandemic: Guidance for Nuclear Medicine Departments Dear colleagues, Faced with the current COVID-19 pandemic, Nuclear Medicine Departments worldwide are adapting their routine operations to minimize risks of exposure to their patients, staff and the public. In addition to establishing standard operating procedures during these unprecedented times, it is essential to contain the virus transmission, and protect those who are most vulnerable- our patients, and those most exposed- our staff. Other diseases do not stop, and essential and critical nuclear medicine services are needed. In light of the many requests received and important questions asked at the first webinar in the Nuclear Medicine series, we are launching the second webinar organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) dedicated to supporting the Nuclear Medicine community in addressing the challenges during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Join us and 12 of our renowned panel of international experts to discuss a series of recommendations for Nuclear Medicine Departments, based on the patient’s typical “journey” through the department.
